This policy explains how Klica Technologies (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our website at klicatech.com and our exam preparation applications for Android and Windows (together, the “Services”).
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you contact us, request an app or join a waitlist, you may give us your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to you and to decide which apps to build next.
Information collected automatically
Our apps and website collect limited technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, approximate region and crash diagnostics. This helps us fix faults and keep the apps working across the wide range of devices our users have.
Practice data
Your practice scores and progress are stored on your own device so that you can track how you are improving. We do not upload your answers or your scores to our servers.
Advertising
Our free apps are supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob and its partners. Advertising partners may collect and use device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) and related data to select and measure the adverts you see, including personalised adverts where you have consented to them.
You can review and reset your advertising identifier, or opt out of personalised advertising, in your device settings. Google’s handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy & Terms pages.
The authorised sellers permitted to sell advertising inventory in our apps are published at klicatech.com/app-ads.txt, in line with the IAB app-ads.txt standard.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain and improve the Services.
- To respond to your questions and app requests.
- To diagnose crashes and technical faults.
- To display advertising that keeps the free apps free.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Services (such as our hosting provider, analytics and advertising partners), and where we are required to by law.
Children
Our apps are used by secondary school students, some of whom are under 18. We do not knowingly collect more personal information from a child than is needed to run the app. If you believe a child has given us information they should not have, contact us and we will delete it.
Retention
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of app requests. Practice data lives on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to klicatechnologies@gmail.com and we will respond.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
